Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the CandleCanvas Candlestick Maker iOS app.
Data we do not collect
CandleCanvas does not require an account and does not ask you to submit your name, email address, phone number, payment information, financial account information, contacts, location, health information or photos. It does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers or crash reports, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Information stored on your device
To create and remember your fictional charts, CandleCanvas stores the following information locally on your device:
- Your chosen market name, chart settings, theme and display preferences
- Generated simulated candle, volume and indicator values
- Your selected in-app language and export preferences
This information is not sent to CandleCanvas or used to identify you.
Exports and sharing
When you create an export, CandleCanvas renders the image locally. If you choose to share it, iOS presents the system share sheet and you choose the destination. Any information you send to another app or service is governed by that destination's privacy policy.
Photos permission
If you choose Save to Photos, CandleCanvas requests add-only Photos permission solely to add the export image you created. CandleCanvas does not read, browse or upload your photo library.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains on your device until you change it, reset the app or delete the app. Because CandleCanvas does not receive this data or operate user accounts, there is no server-side profile for us to access, export or delete.
Children's privacy
CandleCanvas is a general-audience visual creation app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date.
